What Borders Did Russia Open With?

The recent photographs of Какие границы открыла Россия show a very big hole in the side of the building that had been a part of the Soviet military. This is one of the first things that I thought about, because if Russia had any war plans they would have certainly put such holes in the sides of their buildings and bases. There was also the question of nuclear war, chemical warfare, and aerial refueling tankers in this area. Is all of this a way to test the United States?

 

Some military historians have claimed that the reason that there are no nuclear war games or chemical warfare exercises happening near Russian borders is that they fear that if a war did occur, that the US would be completely wiped out, as they had been in previous wars. This does not mean that the United States would never attack, but it certainly means that they fear the outcome of such an attack. It is possible that they are worried about someone from North Korea or Iran getting into a war with them because of the nuclear tests that they have recently conducted. This is much more understandable, because all nuclear power plants in the world are watched by satellites that are always over the skies, and if anything was to go wrong at a nuclear plant, it would be immediately seen on these satellites within minutes.

 

The only thing that someone could say with certainty when it came to what borders did Russia open with regards to the United States was that the American soldiers were the aggressors. The Russians claimed that the Americans opened fire without warning, which is not true. Even though there were casualties, many of those casualties were from friendly fire, as Russian soldiers had to retreat and cover the wounded. In fact, the United States lost several men and even one helicopter to friendly fire in the incident. This is just one of the incidents that shows what borders do when one is talking about military conflicts. Of course, many people will side with the United States because they have more experience fighting terrorists overseas than the Russians have fighting theirs.

 

Some people are calling the United States the creative nation for dropping atomic bombs on Japan and Nagasaki. However, one has to ask if someone who have never been to America, and who has no experience with nuclear power, is calling the Japanese a creative nation for not following the orders of their government to drop the bombs? If we blow up a Chinese tank, kill a Russian soldier, or kill anyone in Afghanistan, why is this person not invoking a nuclear power with the same respect and fear that someone who has lived here his entire life does? The answer to that question may surprise those who are calling the shots in terms of what borders did Russia open with.

 

Those who call the United States the creative nation, or the bully in international affairs, have obviously never lived in America, and cannot make up their mind whether or not they think the United States is doing the right thing in world affairs, or not. It should be obvious to every thinking person that our first duty is to protect the American people, and all Americans, wherever they happen to be residing at any given time. Further, it is also in America's best interest to keep the peace in the world, which includes maintaining friendly relations with every nation on the planet. A wise man once said that it would be in America's interest to give peace a chance, as it always seems to end up ruining someone else's life, and most certainly their nation.

 

Those who blame the United States for Nagasaki, and say that we allowed history to repeat itself, simply do not understand the issue of nuclear power. Did the United States go too far in using the power of nuclear weapons, or was it just and appropriate to use one in that situation? We can all agree that Russia is one of the strongest nations in the world, and we also know that Iran is a nation building terrorist organization, and wants nukes, too. So, let's discuss this issue, and leave the political rhetoric to those who can actually use it to better their nation, and help the world stay peaceful.
